Liebe Gäste des 6. Gockelscream,
auf dieser Seite gibt’s die wichtigsten Info’s zum diesjährigen Gockelscream Festival.
Einige Dinge können sich spontan noch ändern, daher könnt ihr euch hier auf dem aktuellen Stand halten.

Anreise:
Für alle die nicht mit dem Auto kommen gibt es die Möglichkeit mit Bus und Bahn anzureisen.
Es gibt den Bus 226 der in Dresden Bühlau startet. Die Bushaltestelle „Dürrröhrsdorf Wendeplatz“ ist ca. 1 km vom Festivalgelände entfernt. Es fährt auch ein Zug aus Richtung Pirna, allerdings steht euch dann ein Fußmarsch von ca. 2,5 km bevor.
Mit dem Fahrrad geht’s auch von Dresden aus, es sind nur 23 km allerdings muss man auch einige Höhenmeter bewältigen. Da sollte man sich schon 2-3 Stunden einplanen.
Die Rückfahrt bei Nacht mit Bus, Bahn und Fahrrad Richtung Dresden ist nicht zu empfehlen bzw. nicht möglich. Daher bleibt doch gern bei uns. Wer nur ein Tagesticket zum Gockelscream hat, kann gern auch auf dem Gelände übernachten.
Parken:
Wie auch schon im letzten Jahr, sind die Parkmöglichkeiten direkt am Gelände sehr eingeschränkt, parken direkt am Festivalgelände ist nicht möglich. Die wenigen Plätze neben dem Feld vor dem Gelände sind für Crew und Bands reserviert.
Zum Ausladen könnt ihr gern bis ans Festivalgelände ranfahren!
Ihr könnt am Sportplatz im Ort parken. Campen ist dort ebenfalls möglich – für Toiletten (Dixies) am Parkplatz ist gesorgt.
Wenn ihr auf dem Festivalgelände zelten wollt, dann könnt Ihr mit dem Auto vor das Gelände fahren um eure Sachen auszuladen und dann das Auto zurück zum Parkplatz bringen.
Camping:
Es gibt ein Areal auf dem Gelände wo man wunderbar Zelten kann!
Bitte beachtet dass es Nachts in dem Tal teilweise sehr kalt werden kann, nehmt euch genügend Decken und Schlafsäcke mit.
Baden:
Es gibt eine Bademöglichkeit im Fluss auf dem Gelände!
Verpflegung:
Es wird frisch zubereitetes Essen und Frühstück für einen schmalen Taler geben. Dafür wäre es super wenn ihr euer eigenes Besteck mitnehmt. Tasse/Becher, Teller etc. dann können wir den Müll reduzieren.
Für Bier und andere Getränke ist gesorgt, wir haben auch alkoholfreie Getränke an der Bar.
Wetter:
Das Festival spielt sich größtenteils unter freiem Himmel ab. Beide Bühnen sind aber überdacht und es gibt ausreichend Platz um sich im Falle von Regen in Sicherheit zu bringen. Daher lasst euch nicht von schlechtem Wetter abschrecken.

Getting there:
For those not arriving by car, there are bus and train options.
Bus 226 departs from Dresden Bühlau. The „Dürrröhrsdorf Wendeplatz“ bus stop is about 1 km from the festival grounds. There is also a train from Pirna, but this will require a walk of about 2.5 km.
You can also cycle from Dresden; it’s only 23 km, but you’ll have to climb quite a bit. You should plan on 2-3 hours for this.
The return journey to Dresden by bus, train, or bike at night is not recommended or even possible. Therefore, please stay with us. Those who only have a day ticket for Gockelscream are welcome to stay overnight on site.
Parking:
As was the case last year, parking directly on site is very limited so parking in front of the festival ground is not possible. The few spaces next to the field in front of the festival grounds are reserved for crew and bands.
If you want to load out your car in front of the festival ground that’s no problem!
You can park your car at the sports field which is about 1km away from the festival ground. There are also toilets if you want camp at your car.
If you want to camp in a tent on the festival ground, you can drive up to the festival grounds to unload your gear and then return the car to the parking lot.
Camping:
There’s an area on site where you can camp in your tent!
Please note that it can get very cold in the valley at night, so bring plenty of blankets and sleeping bags.
Swimming:
There’s a swimming opportunity in the river on site!
Food:
Freshly prepared meals and breakfast will be available for a small fee. It would be great if you bring your own cutlery, cups, plates, etc., so we can reduce waste.
Beer and other beverages will be provided, and we also have non-alcoholic drinks at the bar.
Weather:
The festival takes place mostly outdoors. However, both stages are more or less indoor and there’s plenty of space to shelter in case of rain. So don’t let bad weather deter you.
